| In 1980 several dozen Mariner Pipes were sold to Japanese shops and collectors. Several of them had a unique heavily carved finish. One of the Japanese buyers remarked to my representative that they looked like "little Dragons". That was the genesis of my "Little Dragon" line of Mariner Pipes and referring to the heavily carved finish as a "Dragon finish" | ||
